Third Thursday Telecom – 21 May 2015

In this ongoing monthly series, scientists from the Stardust team discuss some of their latest research findings. You can join these live discussions on the third Thursday of each month at 11am Pacific Time. For more information, including how to participate, go to the most recent post at https://stardustathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3974&start=30

In this third feature of the recorded monthly telecoms, Dr. Andrew Westphal answers dusters’ current questions (a regular feature of the Third Thursday Telecoms), including why particle impacts in the foil surrounding the aerogel is providing different results from the particle impacts in the aerogel itself (and thus why we will soon be launching a new foils search that all dusters can participate in). New insight is also provided on how our research partners are helping us prepare and practice using new analytical techniques.
