For this month’s telecon, and as a special treat, Dr. Juan Carlos Martínez Oliveros joined Stardust@home’s Dan Zevin to discuss a brand new citizen science project they are both working on at the Space Sciences Lab in partnership with Google. Called the Eclipse Megamovie, the project will be a first-of-its-kind citizen science project focused on a one-time and relatively brief natural phenomenon – the August 21, 2017 total solar eclipse that will traverse North America from coast to coast.
