In this very first of the recorded monthly telecoms (audio only), Dr. Andrew Westphal reports directly from the 46th annual Lunar and Planetary Science Conference in The Woodlands, just north of Houston, TX. Not only does Dr. Westphal give an update on some of the more exciting topics being discussed at the Conference, he also talks about the latest Synchrotron analysis of the Stardust@home interstellar candidates. He also answers dusters’ current questions (a regular feature of the Third Thursday Telecoms), including why the analysis of the interstellar candidates is so painstaking, and can only go so far! There’s also a great discussion on how many tracks have been found and analyzed to date, and much, much more.
