Has a removable grid overlay been considered?

Post by minkiemink »

As I was dusting, it occured to me that a pale grid overlay with a toggle that would enable one to hide it might be helpful. Transparent grid overlays are commonly used in mapping, art layouts and finding azimuths.

I did find a free one on-line, but I am not computer savvy enough to apply it so that I might see if it makes the searching more precise.

It would certainly make it easier to keep track of quadrants searched, and a toggle to hide the grid would allow more exact exploration. Any thoughts?
