Dirt particle on camera lens,specks,spots,Larry,Moe,Curly
I've noticed in pretty much of all the images a small spot on the top edge, about one fifth from the right edge. It looks like a particle but I think it's probably dirt on the lenses or inside the system so beware. Good hunting!

That bottom one
I can ignore the ones on the edge, but, garn, that bottom one (Moe?) keeps faking me out. When you are at the bottom of focus and everything else is fuzzy, it draws your eye. About once every 10 minutes I get excited for a second!
Dirty Screen?
Hello, what do we have here?
One more spot in microscope lens. The fourth constant speck is half way down, right of center. It really shows up on those movies that look like a blank screen.
I have spit on my screen and cleaned it off, but It's still there.
These spots are valuable in calibrating one's eyes. If you can see that bottom one, your eyes are working pretty good today.
Thanks,
fjgiie

Let's call it Sneaky, since it sneaks up to you when you are least expecting it Or does it have another name already?

Shemp is... subtle. I wasn't too sure about him for a while myself. But I kept my eye out for one that showed him off to best effect, which mostly means a rather plain background that goes very unfocussed. So, here you go:
Best bet is to view the movie and slide the focus back and forth, and you can see that there's a little patch there that doesn't quite change the same way its surroundings do.

Shemp
yes, and includes the total most obvious peck and ignores the other more subtle unnerving three. This thread should be mentioned there not vice versa.DustBuster wrote:This topic is explained in Tutorial #6 here:
