T-Shirts and Logos
Well, since I posted the idea last night several people have shown interest already so, if you have an idea for a T-Shirt, Logo, Clever saying, here's where to post it. And I am sure the moderators would appreciate it if we kept it clean too, no nudity, foul language, that sort of thing.........

here's a good site to play with T-Shirt designs, I wouldn't publish anything that uses the Stardust Logo as it is theirs afterall...
http://www.zazzle.com/design/shirt/default.asp
and here's a down and dirty design with Forum name..
**I'm a freakin' Genius! I just figured out how to make the images appear in the post instead of just linking them, there is an image button under the subject line when you are typing your post...

Here is a shirt that I designed, tell me what you think.

You rang?
This is fun! I love the shirts & sayings!
Can someone help me on this? I have been tossing around an idea about checking for dust, like an inspector, but some position that everyone would recognize. Kind of a white glove thing. Then making a parallel to Stardust. But, even if I could recognize the position, I can't think of one! I thought of house cleaning, but that is not quite the same.
Another thought, for us "oldies" out there - Kansas had the song "Dust in the Wind", great song! Can anyone do anything with it?
I wish I had the time and ability to be visually creative. My bag is words.
Oh! And could someone find dustbunnies in the aerogel! It seems that those things have got to have come from somewhere!

How about a Marine Corps DI (Drill Instructor) using a white glove to check for dust?

and here's this one for fun,
I think that the smaller logo would be great too on a T-Shirt if we could get it a little bigger, probably on the front breast while the bigger logo can go on back..... I tried using that T-Shirt site to make one up but, the Small logo was jsut too small to see in the picture, probably in reality is the right size in real life though.....lemme try again....

"Dust in the Gel"
I search for dust, Only a few microns in a block of gel
All I see, Passed into the smoke in faint obscurity
Dust in the gel, All they want is dust in the gel
Trapped in smoke, Just a speck of powder from the galaxy
Starry skies, laugh down at the humans who are asking why
Dust in the gel, All we want is dust in the gel
Ohhhhhhh whoaaa whoaaaa
Now...
Aerogel... show the bits of space dust that you hide from me
I cross my eyes, and all my patience won't another dust-mote find!
Dust in the gel, All we want is dust in the gel
Dust in the gel, Berkeley labs wants dust in the gel
... the gel

You guys ROCK!!!
Hey! My cable connection is acting up. They can't get out to look at it until next Wednesday. So, I am in and out as the connection allows. I told him I needed it by June because of this project and explained it to him. He was confused at first, but then asked me the name of it so he could check it out. So I told him that the sooner I'm up, the better, so I could "Go Dusting!"
