Well, Elaine, I'm afraid I've faltered. Current stats are:

Specificity: 100.00%
Sensitivity: 99.25%

OK, Elaine, I'm half-way back. Painfully slow progress, as expected.

Low angle tracks/High angle tracks are difficult for me for some reason. I like to find the deep straight in tracks and continue to believe we will find some eventually.

I'm in awe of all you virgin folk with 100% Specificity, which of course I have now lost for ever! I made a complete hash of things at the start, experimenting by clicking here, there and everywhere, before getting it sorted in my mind.
Fjgiie, I don't know how you can say that you find angled tracks difficult, having just found that little teaser in gebils 1918301V1.
But like you, I still keep an eye out for straight-in carrotty tracks, and have a couple on my list. I don't think the team has ever suggested that any such tracks are unlikely to be due to IS particles, in contrast to how for 3+ years we had been led to consider the LAT/HATs that are now "flavour of the month".

Re: Post your stats
I was almost afraid to post my stats, since the last time I did I immediately afterward got two more errors! I've been working my way back ever since. It's a little easier for me, though, than for those of you with high scores...it's only about 50 cm's for a 1/100th of a point. You must need hundreds.

Re: Post your stats
Well I'll post my stats too since they look pretty good. I started dusting in the middle of phase two so my previous stats weren't looking so great. I'm just glad that I am seeing some improvement during phase 3.

Well, perhaps "42" is indeed the answer to 'life, the universe, and everything.' At any rate, 11,000 movies later and still holding at 42 errors, my sensitivity has crept up to 99.55%.

John, arn't you glad to find out who was?
fjgiie was not doing very well with Sensitivity so blank took the test and registered. I was interested if a blank would actually show up on the rankings page, and had to wait until got into the top 100 to find out. In the mean time looked like this .
fjgiie (hold the Alt key down and with Num Lock on type 0160 on numerical keypad)
Re: Post your stats
For sure Fred!fjgiie wrote:John, arn't you glad to find out who was?
It initially caused mayhem with my Top 100 program, where you are currently shown with the name "blank". I did in fact eventually work out that it was exactly five non-alphanumeric characters, anything shorter or longer causing a crash !
While perfectly reasonable to reset one's stats under a new name, let's hope no one else starts using non-alphanumerics, or eventually no one will know who anyone else is!
At least you've shown up a weakness(?) in the Berkeley program, though I presume using a non-alphanumeric username for the phpBB PMs didn't work, hence the give-away hole in your subterfuge!
Whatever, I envy your current stats, and think it would be nice to replace the Top 100 "blank" with "fjgiie" in order to give you due credit, but only if you approve.

Re: Post your stats
Well, John, finally made it to the 1.0000 current skill score for Phase VII, but it's been a challenge. My cumulative score is still well below where it was at the end of Phase VI. Doubt I'll be threatening my longest correct PM streak from last phase (2553). Not going to bother posting my stats unless this page becomes popular again. Best of luck to you - let's find something "real."
