Although things have been relatively quiet for Stardust@home, there has been furious activity in the last six weeks on the manuscripts reporting the results of the Interstellar Preliminary Examination (ISPE), of which Stardust@home is the first part. The first part of the publication plan is a series of papers to be submitted to Meteoritics and Planetary Science (MAPS). This will be followed by a single submission to Science.
We currently have six manuscripts under review internally among the ISPE members, and four more that are in preparation and will be circulated soon. We had an ISPE meeting yesterday in Houston at the Lunar and Planetary Science conference, to discuss the remaining few issues and to hammer these out. Stay tuned!
