please help users with designing again the microscope

i loose a lot a time with scrolling the screen to center the microscope :

I've Windows XP, Iexplorer, 1280x1024 resolution screen and I scale x200% the layer of the microsope... to have a best confort.
But :
I need to scroll down beccause :
there is a big "stardust@Home" logo at the top (no need... i know where I'm)
there is the statut informations of the loading (Ok, but put it smaller, and on a single line, not two)

Also, I need to scroll right and left to adjust beccause :
the page is automaticaly centered (with the X200% zoom of Iexplorer) and the screen of microscope and the (how to say in US ??? : "up-down" scrollbares ? they are not enough nearly together (a big white space in the middle)

This is what I use, would you like to try this? No scrolling
1. Set screen resolution on 1024 X 768
2. Right click Task bar at the bottom of screen and click properties. Put a check in Auto-hide the taskbar, if you need more room at the bottom.
3. No scrolling if magnification is 100%
4. If magnification is 125% only need to scroll up one click on mouse wheel.
5. You can also press F11 and move movie up more.

Please, make a "classic frame" and a "pro frame"... for dusters who see a lot a sequences like me (I'm not the #1, yes... but...)

I hate the scroll down also but 1024 is too small for me

Oh cmon, just add an option to hide the logo and all that.
