Photos of dusters?
Hi everyone,
Chemical and Engineering News wants to write a column about you. They need cool photos -- some kind of media to include that shows the Stardust @ home project in action. I was thinking the best type of picture would be an actual photo of an actual duster dusting. I was remembering the aerogel thread with the picture of someone's aerogel on a keyboard -- that seemed like one idea. Who else has ideas? Short timeline -- answer tonight!
Thanks,
Zack

Photoshop?
Hmmm. How about an astronaut logged into Stardust@Home? If it were obviously photoshopped that would be OK. Or logged in from the moon...

Wow, DustBuster, you have proven to be one creative member! I really enjoy your work.DustBuster wrote:I have to admit, I wanted to add a caption to the 'Spock-Dusting' photo...
maybe, "Captain, we are experiencing interstellar particle bombardment at a ratio of blah, blah, blah, to 1" but I couldn't get over the obvious-
"I love you, Stardust computer!"
After I saw your work, I wanted to find some others I thought would add some irony also. Maybe you and others might come up with these themes and graphics for them: JFK looking at a stardust screen saying "Ask not what StarDust can do for you, but what you can do for StarDust" or how about Carl Sagan saying "there are tens and tens and tens and tens of stardust particles."

If my attempt at adding photo isn't successful, could someone tell me how to add a photograph? I have iMAC with iPhoto. THANKS.
I joined the StarDust Team in August 2006. I’m an old Lab-Tech and I have not missed one day dusting since. I’ve loved every minute of it. My husband and I are residents of the Edgewood Summit Retirement community in our home town of Charleston, WV. I had nothing else to do, so I signed up with NASA, figuring it might bring me my “15 minutes of fameâ€
