From here we learn:

"The greatest surprise, as both Jones and Stardust team members have noted, is that the tiles seemed as clean and pristine on their return from their epic space journey as they did the day they were first placed in the collector."
The substance called tetraethylorthosilicate is mixed with a solvent to make a liquid, and then water and a base are added to the mix. With the base acting as a catalyst, the TEOS molecules form into long chains of silicon dioxide called polomers.
"When all the liquid had been sucked out of the cylinder, what is left is a light porous substance composed of silica– aerogel."

therefore, my guess is mo aerogel :)

This looks exactly like the kind of dust particle I see often on my slides at the hospital. There I just blow it off (literally!) :)

fiber

a fiber of some kind. which means my guess goes in the "hair" category, although it doesn't look like actual hair. (Trust me. I'm a biologist. :) )
