No joke! I am almost POSITIVE it was a real track! I was quite large too. I thought it was just a calibration movie, but my score didn't go up, so I looked under my events, and there it was, waiting to be examined by the Stardust @ Home scientists!! Woot!!

Premature congratulations! :D It's always exciting finding something of interest in a real movie. Hopefully your movie will start to get some reruns by other users to confirm your finding.

Congrats on your finding. What movie # is it (go to the event viewer tab) http://stardustathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/myevents.php

I found a "real" movie with a track on it. Now that I have submitted it and load the event viewer the movie show there doesn't have a track.

The thing you see in the bottom left is not a track. The movie never focuses below the surface. The thing on the bottom left looks like some gel just about to come into focus.

What is the movie ID # though? It's hard to verify without seeing the movie in action.

Wow, that is cool. Much better than the one I marked:

I'm not real hopeful as there are actually two tiny things in the same movie. Lower right and another in the top third on the right when focusing down to the last 4 or so blue bars. But they're soooo small. :?

Congrats if you found a track! Until it is verified as a track and you are confirmed the first, I wouldn't start celebrating. I think there is just too much going on right now. But! The best part is that you are looking and trying your best. Sounds like you are having fun too! Might I suggest that you consider posting the name you might choose on the community threads "What would you name it" as a way to share your excitement?

Good luck! Happy dusting! :D

Looks similar to the one I just found, if these are tracks, they're coming up pretty fast.
