Re: This one(4836732V1) should very likely be a stardust.
Good. Is very similar to the test frames.gentboy wrote:http://stardustathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/ ... =4836732V1

Yet another one
Hi. Here I have a video with multiple candidates, too. Three particles, all on the left side: http://stardustathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/ ... d=451142V1
But what I really find interesting is that one of them seems to have a little track. What do you think?

24 in 120 viewers agree that this is a candidate.

It should have been be an answer in the track thread, of course.

Beginners luck ?
Hi all. I have just started. After 2 hours I found 2 possible tracks ! Is this likely, or am I over optimistic ? Perhaps new comers are sent fake films to give them a further test before they are let loose on the real thing ?

5 tracks in a single movie?
Hi all,
I would like to draw tour attention to movie 8258196V1
http://stardustathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/ ... =8258196V1
I can see 4 clear tracks focusing at different depths and something else that is likely to be an inclusion.
The most interesting track is the one located top right in which it seems that the actual particle is distinguishable at the end of it!

Avourekas,
I would not flag this for the sake of the linear structures, because they don't show the training movie "holes" on my machine. They also tend to "blur out" in downward focusing.
The dot at 3:00 2/3rds out from center at low focus is also interesting, but again, lacks the training movie "hole".
I may be wrong w/ this reply, but that's my take.

Thanks tim_yoda for the reply, I see what you mean, these could actually be artifacts included in the aerogel below its surface that just come into focus (and that is way the circumference of the 'hole' is not sharp) while we focus deeper. We'll have to wait for the professional reviewing.
I hope this post will be helpful for other people spotting similar features, but nevertheless, I dont think that anyone should mark such movies as "No Track" or else we could miss borderline positives!
