:shock:
I get the exact same response. No one knows what to say to me! I think ,they think I'm having "Illusions of Grandure". They do displayed the blank look and then say oh and go on with whatever they were doing before I said anything.
I just couldn't let that go, I would be asking all kinds of questions about it. but they don't :roll: My husband has always known I'm a little nuts and I think this just confirms it to him. :P

Anyway, I think it is going to be a very interesting experience!

All I get is "Not everything on the internet is what it is made to look like." I just tell them that if I find a particle I won't name it after them, they don't care.

Two friends of mine were talking about space and the origins of the Universe on a bus downtown. After they finished their conversation a girl walked up to them and said something like: "woow.... i listened to what you said...woow, you guys are so smart! Look, these are my friends (points to another three girls):..." :D So it's not that bad. I'll tell everyone i know will get involved to get involved.

Blakut: I take it you don't live in the Coachella Valley. :roll:
PeteSeeker: I love your daughter's opinion. Good sense of message board design. Although, if I had MY hand in it, it would of course have a completely black backround, with other formatting elements and titles varying shades of green or blue, and all basic, post/other text white.
Good old codes #000000 and #FFFFFF :mrgreen:
And God said: E = +mv^2 - Ze^2/r ...and there *WAS* light!

PeteSeeker,

//climbs on soapbox// (I'm short - there I said it)

Yeah, my husband thinks it's cool, but I agree with you, for most people if it doesn't affect their corner of their world, immediately, then it doesn't matter!

//falls off soapbox//

Have faith, you have found some peers here, even if we do get a little obscure and off the wall! At least it's some cranium fun!

What my wife thinks of my participation...

Post by enowicki »

I think she thinks I am nuts. She doesn't see the excitement in it at all. But I think its a very exciting project. I just wish I had MORE time to spend on it.
