Possible
Not sure on this one, any opinion?

Should we give a movie the benefit of the doubt or be more sceptical?

I see four possible particles in that movie, but no tracks.theblackbag wrote:Not sure on this one, any opinion?

There are two particles visible at the very bottom of the focus. One is straight up from the "s" of "microns" and slightly under one-quarter of the way north of the bottom of the image. One is beginning to come into the focus in the upper left-hand corner, below the "s" of "mouse."
The third and fourth particles are below the surface but not so deep. Focus at about the "d" of "down" -- one of them is just south of center and the other is in the lower right-hand corner.
I think that's all of them.
If it were me, I'd select one and click on it. If enough people agree, it will cause the scientists to examine the movie. They are experienced enough to notice all of the particles I have pointed out.
Hope that helps.

Which of course is why I have warned people a few times not to get to lax on what they think are callibration movies. Some of the features that crop up often in the callibration movies also exist in many real movies. Familiarity breeds contempt.

This is my fourth hit, but the first one that looks like a slam dunk. What do you guys think?

To sumarize then (and yes I did see all 3, not quite enough focus to resolve them), these are definately subsurface particles. They are probably "inclusions" from manufacturing, but since we don't know yet for sure, keep on flagging them so they can be looked at later by the project staff and they will make the official determination.
I hope they send us pictures too!
