Movie 8258196V1: 5 tracks?

Post by avourekas »

First of all, a big 'thank you' to the Stardust Team for letting all us to participate in such an interesting project.

I have a few movies with possible tracks to draw your attention to like

but I would definately appreciate your opinions on movie 8258196V1 in which I can see 4 clear tracks, and 1 that looks like one.

The tracks are to my opinion clear as many calibration tracks I have spotted correctly. This movie has currently 114/59 vewings, so I am eagerly awaiting professional reviewing!

If you're talking about the doughnut near the right-hand edge, it looks like a surface feature to me: that side of the frame is just coming into focus when it comes into view.
If you're going to be just like everyone else, what's the point in existing?

That is cool. I bet that is a track. This one looks like another one coming in at an angle. Not as big, but you can see a speck of something at the bottom of the track. 31 of 95 people noticed this one so far. If this isn't one, I'll be surprised.

...and you know what? - it was worth it!
Wow, it's a rocket engine made by a Snowflake in aerogel. Complete with nozzle, that narrows to a throat, with a thrust chamber. It'll be interesting to see what's at the end of the track. I'm sure everyone see something different, as we all try to relate unknown things to the things we know best. But, the wide bell at the surface that ends at a restriction called a nozzle and continues on into the thrust chamber. Definitely a steam rocket engine, like the SSMEs on the Space Shuttle, only microscopic in size.

Great find, it will be interesting to see what's at the end of the long track.
