Where to Err?

Post by DiamondGirl »

Question for our wonderful moderators / project team: Which way should we err? If I have a movie that seems out of focus, but at the end a dot pops up that could be a track, do I err on the side of marking it, or on the side of saying it's out of focus? Is one better than the other at helping all of you isolate specifics?

Thanks much! :)

If it only comes into focus at the end, it's likely that you have just found the surface. That being the case, since you can't go beneath the surface to look for tracks, your best bet is to mark it as Bad Focus.

I believe. ;-)

Although, if it comes to focus once, but you go deeper and there are a few more dots that come into focus, I would click on them. You never know what it could be!
