The miss labelling of the HAT's is really getting to me. I logged in this morning and got a power movie first up, clicked on the particle(deepest part and out of focus) was marked as a miss. Checked the "my events misses" and the red bars indicated the start of the track(first part of track in focus)!

Getting frustrated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!http://stardustathome.berkeley.edu/foru ... 1c1a4e12db#

Another invisible track. Does anyone see this? I can't for the life of me see anything at all, never mind a track. I guess I can forget about a high accuracy rating.

Elainekeefee, I checked your movie and if it had come across my screen I would have checked the odd, sort of triangular spot at the bottom. (375/150) On the sample you sent to the forum, the location is in the bottom section to the left of a red block. I hope someone can help you find it. Will keep checking the postings because I would like to know where it is, too. Evelyn (This post will list me as SmithES, but I'm really ERSTRS)

And another with incorrect parameters:

I think I will suspend dusting for a while till these are straightened out. At the rate I'm going, I will have a negative score from clicking on correct movies but in an incorrect spot according to the highlighted parameters.

Elaine I cannot find anything at your first movie #2 but #70 got you I think because it is so big. A long tail starts on the top margin near the 400 mark and travels down and to the left, under a large blob (that's a technical term) and ends in a dark head.
I know its frustrating but it gets better. Don't beat yourself up because you are missing so much - that's how we learn.

Elaine I just now got a miss on this one - as you can see there is absolutely nothing there. Oh well - next time.

Dan - the skill score on My Events and VM are both Power Score related to total Power Movies viewed. However, the skill score listed on the Community Rankings page is using Power Score related to total movies viewed. Is this correct?

Elaine here is another one. I know for a fact that I selected this at exactly the right spot but I was awarded a miss. Oh well - on to the next one.

I've had dozens of movies in which there appear to be very large tracks. But each time I click on them, I am counted as wrong. I will try to upload a screen shot of the latest one, but if it is isn't successful, the movie number is 461948V1. Very large track on left. ERSTRS

I think Elaine has the right idea. If I had not been instructed, as all of us have, to click on the lowest part of the track I am sure that we all would have better skill level scores and not find it frustrating. I am now considering hitting the bad focus button whenever I encounter an HAT because I just do not know where to click!!!!!

Would someone tell me if this is really a track? These are the large ones that I lose Skill points by clicking on them. Yet, they seem identical to one shown early in the tutorial. This is my third one today. Movie id 2995672V1. I've stopped clicking on them, and will not again until I get a ruling. Thanks, Evelyn
