Tutorial in other languages?

Post by ac220 »

I've translated parts 0-7 of tutorial to russian (rather roughly, and I have not inserted some of the images and (obviously) no "live" VMs ). I think, that final version could be made in couple of weeks (considering other commitments). So...

Question to the team: Is it OK to post this tutorial on the web, what notices ("unoficial translation", original text copyright, etc.) and how should I make, if any?

If anybody knows russian, I'd appreciate some help with finding best-sounding russian equivalents for "tutorial", "collector", "focus movie" and general proofreding when I would translate most of the text.

Hi ac220,

When you have a URL please send it to me in a private message. I'll ask one of my colleagues here at SSL (who is from Moscow) to verify the translation and then we can link to it from the stardust@home website.

Thanks,
