A starduster's guide to quitting S@H:

- move to a lonely island and take nothing with you

- while trying to look very closely at a focus movie, bump your head against
your screen one time too often and obtain(?) total amnesia

- be "abducted" by aliens and bathe in tons of interstellar stardust for the
rest of your life

You know you're a duster if...
- You wear a dust mask when dusting with a cold so you don't cough or sneeze on the screen
- all you want for Christmas is a large monitor, video card and internet upgrades
- Your family and friends are asking, "Are you done YET???"
- You want your certificates framed and placed over family pictures or any other certificates of achievements you've ever had

Hi,
Would anyone like to purchase a "slightly" used mouse-pad?

Not me! I don't use a mouse pad. Well, yeah, there are those grooves in my desk where I have run my mouse up and down, up and down, up and down....

But I don't have a problem, really!

You're addicted when...

You carry a piece of aerogel with you when taking a walk, in case there's any interesting dust blowing around

You use at least two microscopes to investigate interesting dust particles from under your bed

I now own stock in a major battery company!

I am now on my third mouse!

I am now on my second pair of glasses in a year?

My eyedoctor says my floaters in my eyes are mixed with stardust in my brain!

I think I am developing carpul tunnel in my mouse hand!

Just bought a larger manifying glass to help with the tough ones!

My sons bought me a new more comfortable chair for my birthday! TRUE!

My wife asks me to take out the garbage, I reply, give me an hour, OK?

The phone rings and you now have learned to ignore it?

You go to family or friends house and take over their computer!

At the doctors office, you ask to plug your laptop into their internet source?

This coming Xmas, I asked for a 60 inch PC compatible Flat screen, wall mounted TV and a real cool recliner, that's all!

When you install a computer in your car so that you can search for interstellar dust on your way to work each day.

When you crash into a tree while doing this, but don't mind a bit because the crash accidentally hit your mouse button while it was positioned over a dust particle you hadn't noticed.

After you pull out your second back-up PC, the one you always carry in your trunk, and discover that you were the first to find the dust particle, you go nearly mad with joy, and start pouring champagne for anyone who happens to come by.

When the police arrive, they suspect you of fraud because you are so ecstatic over a dust particle which they can't even see, while you are incredibly pleased and happy beyond words that you wrecked your vehicle.

The police throw you into the local insane asylum on suspicions of partial insanity, but you don't care because the asylum's internet connection is faster than what you had at home.

Too funny!

So tell us, are your fellow "guests" interested in the search as well?!?
AND, did you get the cops to join?

Tip of the day:
Clean your glasses and inspect for dust BEFORE you search!

Tip for tomorrow:
If the suspected particle moves while you move your head, refer back to yesterdays tip!
