Am I the oldest duster? (77.5 yrs. old)

Post by ERSTRS »

Anyone old than I am? I was born June 20, 1929. I joined as a duster in August 2006, and haven't missed one day searching for particles since that time, because I am having so much fun. Dusting brings back wonderful memories of my days as a lab-tech in coal, water, and fuels testing.

I'd like to know how many dusters are in their 70's and beyond?

My stats now (12-27-06) are:
Correct: 6522
Incorrect: 169
Score: 6353
C.M's read: 19319
Rank: 176
Specificity: 99.12%
Sensitivity: 95:86

I am only 59 and a half. I remember looking at sputnik in the night sky with my dad and wondering why all the grown-ups were amazed. I knew we would explore space simply because, as the saying goes, it was there. I could not have imagined I would explore for space particles at home while looking at a screen that nobody had back then.

Thanks, Sydney,
I am filled with the same wonder as I search for stardust on a machine (iMAC) that I never dreamed of back on a hot July day in 1969 when I watched Armstrong put a foot on the moon. The miracle of that moment has never left me. That NASA would give us the privilege of being the first to view particles from a comet's tail, blows me away. That's what motivates me to keep dusting. It's awesome! ERSTRS
