Movie 6690749V1 Passed cut 1 IS candidate?

I just caught this movie a few moments ago...almost exactly my 1000th movie viewed, & the first to pass 1st cut.

Hi dbririe,

I also clicked on focus movie 6690749V1

It looks something like the ones in the tutorial. Now, is it below the surface?

Thanks,

Hi jcbc,
thank you for linking your movies. Makes it much easier.
Your first sample is awesome, the second one makes me "thinkabout". Looks very similar to some of my officially commented "inclusions". Did I miss thomething?

I see some folds(?) of the aerogel coming to focus from north to south. The possible track seems to come to focus with the last of those. Thus I can follow your :?:
It reminds me on this one in my events-list:
Movie 7937104V1 140 85 Indeterminate which is not yet officially commented. I´d click it again and again, though I´m not sure about where the surface really is.
BTW: Is there any current official comment on your track postet at the "I think... "?

I think the focus is weird enough in that movie so that they can't say it's definitely an inclusion right away. And that's my general rule for clicking on little specks that are probably inclusions: if I can't be sure that it's an inclusion, even if it's because of bad focus, I click it. (I think I'm good enough not to click on a little speck that's actually on the surface in a tilted movie.)

Movie 6092868V1 179 20 Indeterminate

A nice movie like that and only 20 of 179 clicked on it. No official comment yet because of the low agreements.

Thanks,

Thanks for your reply.
I´m surprised to hear that. It looks so promising to me. So the average "Sensitivity" of those 179 regarding that individual object (or that kind of objects) would be 11,17%
I´m wondering how the scientists get through all that data and on the base of which criteria? It can´t be done with percentage of agreement allone, because there are lots of documented samples "1st review" or "Passed cut 1" with relatively low compliance. Thus, hopefuly, your find will climb the charts some day.

passed cut 1...0.02%?

Post by jdrockster »

I have viewed +-6500 movies. I have 3... passed 1st cuts. From what I am reading it appears that we are averaging approx. 1 in 2,000! I wonder if that is close to the estimates @ Stardust@Home?
