What would you be doing if you weren't dustbusting?
So, if you weren't here clicking through movies, what would you have been doing instead?
Me, I kinda was thinking this might be the summer I finally buckled down and really learned some C programming. Fat chance now.

I'll trade you some MGD for some Strongbow!
Yep, Miller's here. There are plenty of American beers I like better, though, let alone the German stuff. But I suppose it's OK for a big-brewery beer.
Wondering, though, is "pot" British for what we call a cast? Plaster and bandages wrapped around it? If not, then what?

yeah man, a pot is a plaster cast. only this thing is made out of like a plastic mesh and resin. super light.
Im not into german beers, far too strong for me. but i do like some foreign beers.

Do they make the Delirium Tremens there themselves? The pink elephant suggests it, and of course the name, and I see it in their list of beers. I've had that here a few times, good (& powerful!) stuff.

dunno if they make it or its produced under licence. We have it over here. my mate sells it in his pub. i could only drink a couple of those then i'd be falling over!!!
Bitter is the stuff to drink here. don't really get it outside this country.
its made the same way as stout, guinness, but without roasting the barley so its not as dark. lovely. and its not got any co2 in it.
i'm sure it gets exported to the US but im not sure.

I have any number of hot projects pending, but I'm hard down at the moment with eight stitches in my right thumb...we've all heard the addage that it is the dull knife that cuts you the worst; the same applies for the occasional dull bandsaw...
In any case, I'll be dustbusting exclusively for several more days, until the stitches are removed, then it's back to installing a backyard sprinkler system. Even though it rains often up here in the Pacific Northwest, it gets very dry in the summer.

Hi Aquila,
I'd give anything to be
Louis, hope that thumb gets better soon.
Projects I have waiting.... some military history research ( family related),
getting my new telescope up and running and some D.I.Y. home repairs.
And, of course, remembering to feed my family, I forget about starting dinner when I'm so engrossed in searching for stardust.
Regards
Michelle

, that's sooo cool. You're living my dream ( frustrated geologist wannabe).Actively studying the Helderberg Escarpment just outside of Albany, NY.
