"Bad Focus" Criteria

What is the approximate focus range of the VM from top to bottom of the virtual focus? I will flag the movie for "bad focus" if the focus is too close to bottom scale as I cannot focus far enough thru the aerogel to reveal any particle strikes.

I agree and have been doing that too. If you notice, many of the real (MIR samples) tracks require quite a bit of depth below the surface.

If you believe that there is the possibility that there could be tracks in areas that are not able to be viewed deep enough, this is when you click Bad Focus. There is no criteria because every movie is different.
