Re: "I think I've found a track, what do you think?"

Ah - That one is indeed a fine track, erdemkazak! It is already on the Alpha list with an average Red Team rating of 7.3. The Team at Berkeley has confirmed it with with a rating of "10" and called it a "2 o'clock track!!" So, you were right again - that is certainly the kind of ...

Re: "I think I've found a track, what do you think?"

Hi, erdemkazak. I agree with your assessment on the first two, both are probable inclusions, although I find the first one a bit more intriguing than the second. I'm afraid I could not discern the feature of interest in the third movie - at least not at the 75/200 coordinates you provided. Maybe one...

Re: Anyone still here? I'm discouraged...

Hey, Code Talker, I see you've already gotten some expert advice from our colleagues. I just thought I'd add that the forum activity is in a lull right now as we are between phases - wrapping up phase 3 and eager to get on with phase 4 once the new movies are released. You should see considerably mo...

Re: New duster with question

Jay, you'll likely encounter a calibration movie roughly once out of seven. They are evenly split between positive and null calibrations, so over time you'll see a calibration track about once every 14 movies. That's just an average; the actual interval between tracks will vary greatly. You might no...

Re: Post your stats

Well, perhaps "42" is indeed the answer to 'life, the universe, and everything.' At any rate, 11,000 movies later and still holding at 42 errors, my sensitivity has crept up to 99.55%. Correct CMs: 18530 Incorrect CMs: 42 Overall Score: 18488 Real Movies: 107739 Current Rank: 17 Specificit...

Re: track 37

I agree regarding the new movies, Mitchell. They are flat, pleasing to the eye, with good contrast, clarity and focal range. I just viewed about 400 or so and I don't recall hitting [bad focus] once. Kudos to the Berkeley Team!

Wow! Is that fiducially responsible!? (Sorry, had to say it.) I think you must merit some kind of special award for that, fjgiie.

Re: Post your stats

Well, Elaine, I've finally clawed my way back up to 99.50% Sensitivity. It took a lot longer than I'd hoped. Current stats are:

Correct CMs: 16694
Incorrect CMs: 42
Overall Score: 16652
Real Movies: 96729
Current Rank: 17
Specificity: 100%
Sensitivity: 99.50%

Re: My Events comments

Martin, Red Team members (of which I'm one) do not have access to your events log. Those comments are from the Berkeley Team. They've cropped up in my own events log as well, and yes - it's very good to see them! Regards,

Re: "I think I've found a track, what do you think?"

Well, Klemek, assuming I'm looking at the correct spot, that looks more to me like two unrelated inclusions. However, take a gander at the vertical feature running from about 80/0 down to about 80/35. It's at the very end of the focal range, unfortunately, but looks interesting.

Oops, I must have been looking at the wrong movie. Yes, I'd flagged that as a probable fiducial as well. Sorry for the confusion.

Re: "I think I've found a track, what do you think?"

I don't see it, fjgiie, but there are some tantalizing features in the upper right quadrant. It's one of those movies where you really want to click on something, but just can't quite do it.

Re: "I think I've found a track, what do you think?"

Yes, Sonik, I remember starring at that one quite a while before rejecting it. I examined it again, and I'm still with John that's it's not likely a candidate. Of course, I've been wrong before. Regards,
