I don't remember getting them and I would've clicked Bad Focus for both.

Your first sample is awesome, the second one makes me "thinkabout". Looks very similar to some of my officially commented "inclusions". Did I miss thomething? I think the focus is weird enough in that movie so that they can't say it's definitely an inclusion right away. And that...

Re: IDP or ejecta

I got this Stardust@Home Team Official Comment for Movie 9982449V1: "Passed cut 1 ... IDP or ejecta, lower right" I have that movie too; it was the second one I clicked on. :) I think, from reading other places in the forum, IDP is Interplanetary Dust Particle, i.e. NOT an Interstellar (I...

I finally have comments in My Events! :D One movie already had its comment by the time I clicked on it (although its comment changed today), but the other two had no comments until today. Here's my list of movies with comments: Movie 9982449V1 157 45 Passed cut 1 IDP or ejecta, lower right Movie 183...

That said the two most clicked on movies that have been taken to further review look similar, except the surfaces on those movies looks more tilted. Very true. I found that somewhat odd; I hope they tell us soon their official opinion on those. I wouldn't want to be skipping over things they actual...

Umm... I don't see any track. I believe the thing that looks like a track in the top right is actually dust on the surface.

IMO,

IMO, probably inclusions, but closer to the surface than the others I've seen.

No they keep showing up randomly. I flagged one last night. I just flagged one a few minutes ago and saw that I was the 48th to click the focus movie and I also saw the official status and comment for it (first one I have in my list with any comment at all). Movie 6722976V1 142 48 Not Extraterrestr...

I clicked on one like that, but it had a different movie number. I'm wondering if somehow they are a result of a surface shadow interacting with the camera dust.

If you think you would've clicked on it if you had seen it but it's not in your events list, then you probably haven't been given it to view (yet?). :)

I posted this in another topic and was told to repost it here: I'm curious and there doesn't seem to be a good way to search for discussion about a particular movie. I wrote down the ID of a movie that was mentioned somewhere in the forum because it looked promising. Does anyone have this one in the...

http://stardustathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/myevents_viewer.php?id=8989751V1 For me is enough similar to the test images. Yes, it does look similar, but unfortunately, since you can see it out of focus from a high focus position, I think it's just on the surface of a tilted focus movie. Just my opinion,...

Re: when do the new ones come?

How do we know if new movies arrive? Everything I click on, I am 20th upwards to 'find' that feature. I agree that listing 24 random non-scientists in a scientific paper is not doable, but there is no gain if I know all movies have been watched already 100 times (and sure as hell someone clicked on...
