That movie I mention has 7 out of only 21 views. That's one third of the people that have seen it. That's huge. As for the top one hundred. As of early this morning the combined scores of teh top one hundred was 99 582. Assuming a 1:3 ratio for callibrated to real, multiply that number by three to ...

I've been hinting at it for a while now. Based on the number of threads that people are starting, it wouldn't surprise me if every movie has been flagged by now. And right now, it's only going to get worse, I suspect, as whatever issues exist are just being perpetuated. The top 100 people alone, as...

seven people thought so... don't know why though

http://stardustathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/myevents_viewer.php?movie_id=52935 So, I flagged this one, just to see what kind of responses it might have. This movie, to me, is just coming into focus in the last layer or two. I would select it as bad focus, since I can't get below the surface. But I flagge...

Amusing actually. in a bit of a rush, I didn't rotate my screen. So when I started working again earlier, I noticed the ID's were different, but the address bar stuff is unchanged. Going back to portrait now so it won't matter. To me anyway! ;-) At this point I find them more a nuisance than anythi...

First to VIEW? No way to know. First to flag? After flagging a movie, go to your MyEvents tab. You will see a list of movies you have flagged, the number of times it has been viewed, and the number of agreements (#oa) that it should have been flagged. The value in #oa includes you. So if it says on...

Update. Now with over 7600 signed up. Total score on my topp 100 is 99582. Making the average top ten score almost 1000. (And all that complaining about high scores before.) An increase of 40 868 (almost doubled) in a day and a half. Still using 35000 movies, that's an average of 8.5 times each has...

Closing in on 5000 real movies and under 30 events. And more than a couple of those are there for interesting artifacts not tracks. I would still ove to know, if by now with the over-reporting that must be going on, if basically EVERY movie has been flagged at least once. Sigh. Over 7600 signed up....

So here I am... going through movies... and what pops up?!?!? The communist ballerina! Sheesh. I'm starting to think at well over 4000 real movies, I'm ready for new material.

Yeah yeah! It's the "I found a real one" ones that are... well communist ones are much better. I still say graceful ballerina though. Dog and all.

Which of course is why I have warned people a few times not to get to lax on what they think are callibration movies. Some of the features that crop up often in the callibration movies also exist in many real movies. Familiarity breeds contempt.

lol I too would rather not see them, but I suspect curbing the enthusiasm won't fly so I suggested the organisation. ;-) Most of the "look at this" I don't bother with now. Unless it's ballerinas with no heads and dogs. I've actually been writing down some amusing ones... haven't got to p...

cleo, wasn't suggesting you were. Just that many of them do become intuitive it seems. I'm just warning about getting too used to that. While it applies often, it frequently does not. I brought up the address bars and ID's due to the numerous posts in other threads on the topic. Some of the things ...

jbigam, Some of the tracks in a few of the callibration movies are VERY small. A slight shift in the lower few layers of focus. Sometimes barely more than a point. But a point that is in focus in those last few layers.
