Now my movies aren't even loading. Being Sunday I doubt if anyone is in the Lab until Monday morning.

Movies Loading Terribly Slow!
Over the past month or so there seems to have been and still is a problem with the next movie loading slowly, stopping for a moment then moving again, sometimes taking quite a time to load so we can check it for a track. Then when a track is clicked on it takes awhile to move to the next frame, and...

"A Debt of Gratitude to my Duster Colleagues"
It is with a heartfelt debt of gratitude that I thank my duster colleagues for the emails, letters and post cards of encouragement and last but not least the funds to get me up and running so I can do that which I love so much. Being an astronomer I especially love this research. Dealing with grave...

Thank you for your Emails! :)
Dear Stardust Colleages, Thank you so much for your wonderful emails full of concern and kind words. They have certainly brightened my days. Since I have been offline I have had more time to read some astronomy related works by Stephen Hawkings and other authors related to astronomy. The Library al...

Good Morning! Phil
Yes, send anything you wish. I get great enjoyment seeing examples of astro-photography from friends wherever they are around the world. I try at least to hold my own. Phase 2 has new variables in play that I don't agree with and the quality of the frames are a challenge. I would like to maintain my...

Hi Phil!
Yes Phil, I received the photo's fine. I put them into my comets folder and lunar eclipse folder. After I got home from seeing the specialist there were two homeless people at my door. I knew them so have helped them. I have been dusting like crazy because Crumplestiltskin is right behind me trying ...

Hi Phil!
That's very nice of you Phil and very thoughtful. Yes, I am an astronomer. I was admitted into the American Astronomical Society in 1978 as an Associate Member when I was in my early twenty's and this past November they honored me with Emeritus Membership. I am also a Member of the Division for Plan...

How long will Phase 2 Last?
Thanks Phil,
I think your projection sounds about right. Being home due to illness I can usually put in many hours a day (10-14) otherwise my score would probably be much different. I really love this research. Keep up the good work yourself!

A word about your point system in Phase 2
Alas, a light breaks through amidst the gray area espoused by so many. Thank you Evelyn! It puzzles me when some appear to be confused when it is really a clear issue of a point earned is really a point earned. I will still continue though because I love the research and it is a worthy cause.

A word about your point system in phase 2
Thanks for your response Elaine, but as a scientist I must adhere to Right being Right and Wrong being Wrong otherwise true scientific values in computation could be affected and the end result a bit spurious but on the other hand I don't believe the fine people at Stardust are meaning to be a unfai...

A word about your point system in Phase 2
It seems a bit dishonest to me if you deduct points that were already determined Correct if one makes an error. In my view if a person has 2,225 points and then makes a mistake, only the sensitivity and specificity values should change. If a person is determined to have made a Correct determination ...

I wonder if this is an Amazon problem instead of coming from Stardust itself?
