Re: "There's a problem with this focus movie"
Hi John, There were no coordinates listed in your post for movie 9357982V1 so I am taking a chance here. That movie is a very difficult one that I have had similar movies many times in Phase 4. The track is located at X=332 and Y=374 which straddles the bottom edge. Track is where the red dot is in ...

Re: "I found a cute, funny, interesting, etc. movie"
Please Read Post Above First :P Here are two images (magnified) of those invisible tracks from two Power Movies. The white arrow is pointing at the weak lines. http://home.comcast.net/~storagepages/tinylines.jpg Screen pattern left side middle ways down. http://home.comcast.net/~storag...

Re: "I found a cute, funny, interesting, etc. movie"
Three strange tracks: first two are Power Movies, both double movies with the track in the double movies. This is the easy one. The track is faithful and shows on the second movie also. Double Movie Very difficult to see. The fiducial stays with the second movie also. Moves right to left & large...

Re: "There's a problem with this focus movie"
... By the way how do you create the url shortcut to a movie with just the movie number? Hi laserphil, I believe if you quote my post you can see the phpBB code, but I will write it here for you also. To link something in phpBB use url= and to link a movie the code looks like this: [url=http:/...

Re: "There's a problem with this focus movie"
Here is a movie that shows more of Elaine's movie. Think it is a mirror image though. 922265V1 One other thing the movie above shows: It is out of focus where you click. That is OK and covered in the tutorial. I always get the track in focus if I can and then click it. No need to go to bottom focus ...

Re: "I think I've found a track, what do you think?"
They are the Heidelberg shots. They are important analogs, difficult to spot just like real ones, and terribly important to the project. Is this track one of those? It's at mid to lower focus and at 325, 300. HEY ! I just noticed the telltail along with it. That is the Power Movie real track I bet.

Re: "There's a problem with this focus movie"
All three movies below are the same image I think. fjgiie missed this one: 3700440V1 enokh missed this one: 337735V1 laserphil missed this one: 601173V1 This looks like a surface crease, not a track to me. 8480592V1 If you will magnify this movie and look just below the surface, there is no track. (...

Re: "There's a problem with this focus movie"
Hi Dan, You could be right about the magnifier, although I usually watch out and not report a bad Power Movie if I clicked it using the Chrome magnifier. I just ran a test using IE with a magnifier and 2. Google Chrome with a magnifier. 1. IE The track in Tutorial number one is at 243, 190 no using ...

Re: Skill Score
Seems to me the changes would only need to be made in updating the new Skill Score every time. Disregard all Power movies in the Skill Score calculation that had a value less than 19 on Total Power Movies Viewed - divisor and in adding the Power Movie value to the raw Skill Score dividend...

Re: Skill Score
I have a better idea. There is no skill in finding a track that looks like a one inch exclamation point ! Dusters do not like for their Power Score to go down and hate for their Skill Score to go down. Leave the Skill Score like it is now except: Do not subtract from running skill score with a miss ...

Re: "There's a problem with this focus movie"
Coordinates must be wrong on this one. No way to hit it. 819798V1 Where did you click? The little black head should have done it for you. I can't see anything wrong, except that the coordinates are a tad off (but not enough to be a miss if you clicked the black head of the track). But I'll report i...
