I've been with StarDust since 1997 :)

What an interesting coincidence this turned out to be. Years ago, as a member of the Planetary Society, I was automatically listed on something I never really thought would come back around to me. Until I did a google on myself 5 minutes ago. Turns out, I've been with this program since 1997 :) (yes...

OK lets clear this up: It's not an issue of cheating cause the only prize is finding a particle. That said, you are HURTING the project by knowingly and willingly stat padding! You know it, and regardless of your denial... I know it, as do that people watching the scores. Here's a good indication: I...

well I'd dare say that the mods took out too few "cheaters" and those whining now are simply.. trying to save face/placement. There simply is no way under any guise that you can load the page and scan a slide, determine if there is a track or no in under 2 seconds. I'd say anything under 5...

I get it sometimes too. roughly 50-60% of the time.

System:

P4 1.6
Windows Vista Build 5384
IE7.2
Cable Modem
GForce 5200FX 128
512 RDRam

FireFox is such a piece of junk! Compairing FF to IE is like Comparing A hyundai to a Mercedes.

its nothing to worry about. They eliminated the top cheaters (all 8, a number that surprises be by how few there were) so hopefully that will give us a little more appeal at trying to do our best and ignore the BS scoring system. The cheaters are the same smacktards that cheat in online games... the...

I added the Launch and Touchdown points for the Stardust sat. Interesting to see how most users that have added themselves here are either in pockets in Europe or the US/Canada, but only 3 outside these areas (1 Aussie, 1 South Africa and 1 Chilean). Considering China has so many internet users, we ...
