"bet you did not make these posts using Chrome."
My final entry here on this-I am bulking up the topic lineage. I performed about 8 movies today just after giving a thumbs up on Chrome with the dedicated appkication page right menu Zoom function. That may as yet work, but I used the regular Chrome hand addressed page access just now, and found the...

"bet you did not make these posts using Chrome."
Simple thinking in my first reply. This below, is my captured screen from the Chrome browser, complete with a movie at about 30% increase in size beyond the normal ~4" high movie view. Three zoom clicks(10% each) to that size screen size of 10" high. I included the right-click menu selecti...

"bet you did not make these posts using Chrome"
Actually I am using the new release of Chrome, and for a month have worked a few days on Stardustathome with the lightening fast browser in viewing these movies on it, without any glitches or problems. I cannot now remember how set up the magnifier, but I have a magnifier on this Chrome page, and I ...

Clear HIT,newest Chrome browser with text Zoom[+2]-Bad count
I've run a count today of 170 additional real movies, 20+ count of calibration movies, and no other 'bad' calibration movies are recorded as yet, using the new issue of the Chrome browser with the text zoom operating. Either my noticing of that clear 'hit' was wrong as the event recorded as the mist...

Omitted the Chrome recorded file number for the selection recorded as a BAD 'hit' in the prior entry. Usually I have the address from the address bar to record.
movie 9227391V1 date-05/31/2009

Clear HIT,newest Chrome browser with text Zoom[+2]-Bad count
I started using the newest Chrome browser for renewed Stardustathome movies today, 05312009, XPP sp3, P4 machine. IE6,7,8, were all too slow for me on this machine, and Chrome seemed to be a fast workable choice today. I worked about 60 movies, w/o glitches, both 'hits', bad focus, and 'no track'. T...

Animated stardust files-and more
Very kind of you to detail this for us. I am sure I can use it with one of my other 'standby' computers here eventually. I'll use IE7(XP) on one to keep pace with this and many other newer processes soon- IE6 is becoming dated as we write. It amazes me that individuals wrote an open-source competing...

Tool/Viewer for creating animations of stardust
Made tentative attempts to run your demo's in IE6, and Seamonkey browser, but I received a static screen with your warning popup which states that this file will not run without IE7 ' and other modern browsers. I'll try this repeatedly with Firefox2, and may convert to IE7, but I have reverted to IE...

Discoids from space- with inclusions, spots(1only)
Doesn't this resemble the disc shape from my first posting on page 34-5 about March 20-22, 2007? I am sure the drugery of counting those hundreds of inclusions is a burden to you all, but I know you use software made for the purpose, I admit, there are a lot of unexplained spots and specks all over ...

elainekeefe was very helpful in providing the address for the movie I lost which I referenced a few posts back. I didn't have access to it. Hopefully she will gain credit for selecting it. She didn't mention whether it was a calibration movie, but it was in her list of 'events'. I still find it a lo...

So pleased you are keeping a close eye on new subjects there at Stardust. This track recognition process is a real challenge. Have there been any tracks confirmed in the aerogel which have almost no tonal variance, in other words, which are not darkened? The movie # is 4661724V1. I received it on 03...

correction to 'possible track'
In the above post I referenced the altered image as a surface level section of the movie. That is incorrect. The altered image of the 'track' is a view of the bottommost level which shows the smaller dark particle connected by a faint trail of turbulence to the non-focused large discoid surface shap...

fm520075331025- apparent track, low visibility
ssand2, thats such a great view of a well organized object which is fairly obvious and well focused in it's parts. At the surface entirely and with surface dispersion at some time. Too bad our resolution here is not sufficient to prove it's biological content. Looking at all these odd items makes me...

surface texture, debris, and movie depth levels
To answer my own suggestion and to contradict the idea of casting against the upper surface: I use the debris and the surface roughness to focus on, and it works better than guessing at the depth location of the featureless surface of some movie sets. Also the debris at the bottom would be entering ...

surface texture, debris, and movie depth levels
I was surprised to see that it appeared the areogel material was cast with the Back or Bottom side as we view the 'slide' or 'container' in the movies to the far or bottom depth of our movies. I would think the better technique would be to cast the material with the 'upper' or particle entry point t...
