Re: Where is Track in this CM?

Re 2nd movie: I agree Elaine. It should be promoted to the Alpha list. John or fjgiie can you tell me the actual # of this movie.

Re #37: That's interesting news, DanZ. Hope you can get us a picture.

Re: Low amount of bad focus movies

I agree with you Martin. The new movies are crisp and clear. The Stardust team has done a great job with the newest tiles.

Congradulations Patrick! Like the name.

Thanks for the quick response, Dan. I eagerly await the fist view of the track.

Re: track 37

Hi Dan,

The new movies are great! Extracting the tiles seems to give very clear movies. Dusting is very exciting now, with possible tracks showing up on the Alpha list daily.

Has there been anymore work done on candidate 37? Do we have a movie id number for it?

Re: Events Lists

Hi Elaine, Five of my events are marked 'passed cut 1', one is marked 'not extraterrestrial' and the rest are 'indeterminate.' Some of the 'passed cut one ' events showed up while we were redoing what I believe were old phase 2 movies, others appear to be midnight tracks. Perhaps one is the mysterio...

Re: Events Lists

Hi Elaine,

I have 151 possibles out of 113985. So like you I'm at .0013. Five of my events are tagged possible idp by Stardust, another is an inclusion. I think I have come across 3 or 4 fiducials.

We are searching for a needle in a cosmic haystack. Isn't it fun?!

track 37

Hi all, In the News section of this site, under candidates there is a listing for track 34 showing it is found in movie 120310V1 and 2625717V1. But I find no listing for track 37. The report on these new candidates says it is from a new tile and was found in phase 3. Does anyone know what movie it m...

Re: "I found a cute, funny, interesting, etc. movie"

Hi Evelyn,

There seems to be a faint track associated with the two eyes, oriented about 2:30. I'm going to put this on the alpha list and see what others think.

I agree with you, John, probably a needle poke. I have entered it on the alpha list. Lets see what Berkeley says. Nice one, tritone21. :)

Re: "I think I've found a track, what do you think?"

Hi Martin, I always click on them and if they are promoted to the alpha list I give them a 10. In phase two Dr. Westphal asked us(on the Red Team) to do that to HATs back when they where all considered the result of interplanetary dust or micrometors(and now we hunt midnight tracks). If a needle pok...

Hi all,

"Where this thread is going?" Let us hope it is going to help us all be better 'dusters'.

Thanks, Kevin. I'm about to get a laptop and you have provided useful info.

John, here in Florida we are not real happy with BP at the moment either.

Regards to all,
Mitchell

Re: Track in 795637V1

Hi Elaine and Tudorbug,

I'm not very computer wise, please help me if you can. How does one access this movie? Being a CM it isn't on the Alpha list.

Re: No Track Evident

Hi John,

I see a midnight track in the bottom right about 325x350 pointing at 1:00. It is faint to be sure.
