Re: Javascript Image Loading Error

The error appears to occur only 1 to 2 times in 100 FYI only (no response necessary): I have had the JS error in IE6, IE7, and Firefox. When it starts, it seems to come in groups, sometimes with a gap in movies loading incorrectly, sometimes one error movie after another. Once it starts, it happens...

Focus Bars Disappearing

I have been having a problem with a number of movies where I am getting a short focus tool. About only half of the focus bars on the right are appearing. The above surface and below surface bars are simply not there. I tried reloading the page and bringing my curser above and below the focus bars th...

Re: knife

Hi Senator; That reverence was to a "glass needle" not a knife. I don't know what the dimensions might be, but overall size is likely to be more important than cutting edge. Groundling Oops sorry, I forgot needle. The picture was provided that I believe was supposed to be the glass needle...

Its a what on the movie?

I have collected a picture of one of my movies that has an artifact that looks exactly like a human thumb with rivulets of blood running down from a small cut. A thumb in need of a band aid. I regret I do not have the link, but if you would like to see it, write me at: swguardian-stardust@yahoo.com ...

Re: Issue 5 – JavaScript wouldn’t load images

Re: Issue 5 – JavaScript wouldn’t load images I have had this problem with the messages coming one after the other, getting a new pop up each time I finish with a movie. I have found that if I ignore the problem, I still get the movies, but after about 6 in a row I change browsers (see below). I als...

I wonder if...

I noticed that one consideration for the eventual attempt at removal of the "space dust" is the use of a glass knife. I wondered if anyone looked at the use of an obsidian knife instead of glass, because obsidian is by far better than glass and a great deal sharper. Obsidian is even used i...

Hi, I have been seeing a lot of those "blank movies" and discovered that some actually have small objects in them, but not very many usually. Frankly, I wish they had a button for registering blank movies. Particles in these movies are really hard to see, but if there, you can find them if...

Howie, you can see the best candidates found so far at: http://stardustathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/forum/viewtopic.php?t=879 This project should be fun and I figure that if people would quit worrying about their score, they could spend more time working on the quality of their searches. Just my opinion 8)

Wherever there is a game or project that has a high score set up, the cheaters will come, just to try for the score. For them, a certificate would be cool. The idea of only giving certificates to those who actually find a certified track is the best idea. For making the top 100, the satisfaction sho...

Flunking the Test

I use a Gateway laptop running XP Home and I have a wired mouse. I have had no problems with Stardust, except that IE has been giving me trouble since all the Microsoft upgrades. My first suggestion is calibrate your mouse in case it is off. Next... I downloaded Firefox for a browser and I have had ...
