New Stardust Pins Created by Tom Yahnke

Tom Yahnke has done it again, This time he has created a Stardust@Home Pin which compliments the patch he made previously. It can be worn as a tie fastener or pinned to a shirt and would be a good conversation piece or perhaps inspire someone to become a Duster. Maybe you know another Duster's Birth...

Re: just a sugg.

That's a great suggestion, I use magnified glasses and that helps out a lot garcitaitasister1 . it's much easier to notice a possible track if one has prescription glasses to deal with. Happy Dusting to everyone! :) Dr. Ronald C. Spencer Emeritus Member: The American Astronomical Society Member: Th...

Re: Stargate-gate?

I also find this puzzling and practically impossible. For a long time I used to Dust from 7:00 AM with breaks for meals and stopped between 10:00-10:30PM then on clear nights went out to observe the Moon and sometimes Jupiter and Saturn. Being gravely ill sometimes my medicines would raise havoc wit...

Re: is there's life in the space??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have no doubt that there is life out there throughout the Universe. The mathematical calculations alone suggests there must be. The best chance of life in our Solar System may be found on Europa, one of the 4 Galilean Moons orbiting Jupiter . There are plans to land a robotic probe on the surface ...

Re: Track in this movie, but It's counted incorrect

Your correct Evelyn, there is no doubt whatsoever that that is a track, there must be a flaw somewhere in the system and it's not you :) I found the frame and looked at it. It's a track as clear as day. Sorry you were docked twice. That can be discouraging at times. I looked at the frame and saw the...

Re: New 100 cm's flooding the site?

OK Folks, Looks like they heard the voices of those calling for common sense and integrated the Movies into a fairer and more enjoyable format :) Now they should be commended. So "Chop, Chop" "Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's off too Dusting we will go" :) Let's work hard for them :) The Ole T...

Re: New 100 cm's flooding the site?

Dear Elaine & Mitchell, What you two have written is certainly correct and timely and I applaud those who have come to rally around Evelyn's observations. Elaine, your right on the mark, couldn't have been said any better and Mitchell it was nice having you chime in, unfortunately truth is seldo...

Re: New 100 cm's flooding the site?

Well Evelyn, After 4 more hours of endless nothingness I have decided to join the large number of people who have gotten tired of endless non productive 100 micron movies that wastes large amounts of valuable time. I have other research that I am involved in so I will continue with that. It's time ...

Re: New 100 cm's flooding the site?

I am saddened to see that a fine and accomplished woman as yourself does not even warrant a single reply Evelyn. Maybe Commencement has something to do with it. Since this change scores of Dusters have left due to discouragement and the best of the best are moving at a snails pace in most cases. I p...

Re: explain the dark & grainy 100 cms?

Hi Evelyn,
No , in those 100 Micron one's the one's you are talking about there are no tracks in those just the clearer 100 Micron frames. At least in phase 3. Maybe in Phase 4 and beyond :D things might be different.

What happened?

I am sure the Space Science Lab will do their best to correct things. My score was 100, 860 when I finished yesterday and this morning it is 100,481 a loss of 379 points.
