Yep--- I've seen both of them, Figiie. The figures were crisp and clear on my screen. Cute! Evelyn

Re: "I found a cute, funny, interesting, etc. movie"
HILARIOUS! Thanks---you don't know how badly I needed this laugh. Lost my very closest and dearest and craziest friend yesterday. . . . one who was always laughing and a joy to be around. Mary Jo would have loved the fact that Kermit showed up in a StarDust@Home gel sample!

Re: "I found a cute, funny, interesting, etc. movie"
YES! nitram819, Kermit the frog was plainly visible when I focused half-way down. Thanks! I am so bored with dusting these days that I appreciate the distraction you and others give from time to time. Why don't you color Kermit so all the rest can find him easily? (Like I did with the rose and the t...

Re: "I think I've found a track, what do you think?"
Danz, I believe this might have am actual track in it. When I clicked on this movie, it went into my "Events." 68 or the 129 dusters who viewed it, have clicked on it. Upper left quadrant, inside "circle" on gel. ERSTRS http://stardustathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/myevents_viewer.php?i...

What's with all the info about DVDs and shows to watch and or buy? Has our Forum turned into commercials for products that have nothing to do with StarDust@Home?

Tudorbug, David, Here is another very tiny Track---top of movie, almost in middle---slightly to right. I've seen them even tinier than this one. http://stardustathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/ss_virtual_microscope.php?frame=-1&next_movie=2592549V1&ondeck_movie=1757415V1&no_record=0&key=113b1...

Re: Answers to Qs about: VM, Movies, Scores… UPDATED 6:56pm
Tudorbug wrote that he was doing next to nothing in dusting. . . . "It is not the math, it's the difficulty in finding minute tracks in some of the calibration movies. David" David, maybe this will help you find more Tracks. I've dusted quite a bit last evening and today in order to find t...

Re: Answers to Qs about: VM, Movies, Scores… UPDATED 6:56pm
The way "Sensitivity" could be satisfactorily "fixed" for me is: Eliminate most of the 50 microns. I click off hundreds and hundreds of them---with no Track at all. Then, put a greater selection of 100cm's, with Tracks, into my batch each day. Sometimes I will find none, or maybe...

Re: Answers to Qs about: VM, Movies, Scores… UPDATED 6:56pm
Yes, I agree with Zoerel. I'd like more details as to how the Sensitivity is established. While Caprarom figured the math percentages for us, it still is confusing to me. Why does ONE mistake cause a DROP of two-one-hundredths of a point---but to regain that loss one needs to find and click on FIFTY...

Re: Answers to Qs about: VM, Movies, Scores… UPDATED 6:56pm
Zoerel, regarding "Interesting features in cm's about sensitivity." I've noticed the same thing and it is very discouraging when I make an error. When I mess a Track, my sensitivity will drop two or three hundredths of percent. Then, to "make up" those lost points, I will have to...

Re: Events page problem?
Mine isn't a brower problem. On my iMac, I have Camino dedicated to my Stardust@Home site, and never use any other browser for dusting. No other browsers are open when I'm dusting. My other browsers, Firefox and Safari, are each one dedicated to one site only, as well. This is VERY interesting---I c...

Re: Events page problem?
Re: Not recognizing slides on my Events List: I've had that problem even in Phase One. So I finally gave up in Phase One and didn't examine my Events anymore. I've done the same with Phase Three, because when I checked, I didn't recognize them, and couldn't find a Track in them. Right now, I have 23...

Is this possibly a Track? If it is a Track, it has a long tail behind it. Clicked on it anyway. Evelyn

OOPS! I don't know my right from my left----and here I am dusting for StarDust@Home! The track with the bright eyes is on the left, not the right. Evelyn (ERSTRS) http://stardustathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/ss_virtual_microscope.php?frame=-2&next_movie=2078004V1&ondeck_movie=3499640V1&...

Re: "I found a cute, funny, interesting, etc. movie"
What is this? It looks like two bright eyes at the top of a track in the upper right segment of movie. I clicked on it as something to look at. Evelyn (ERSTRS) http://stardustathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/ss_virtual_microscope.php?frame=-2&next_movie=2078004V1&ondeck_movie=3499640V1&no_record=...
