How do I show found track?

I must be doing something wrong. When I find a track, I move my cursor to that position on the movie screen and click on it. However, nothing happens. I double-click and nothing happens. Indeed, you are correct that I tend to make matters more complicated than they really are. Thanks for the reminder and the simple answer to my question.

I really appreciate all of the foregoing comments and explanations. I have a much better understanding of "calibration" and "real" movies and "ripples" (thanks for the tip from DustBuster to look at tutorial #11 to see an illustration) than I had 24 hours ago. Now, for the "real" question on my mind...
