That's because a calibration movie gets shown in place of a real movie with the real movie's ID. That discourages cheating as you can't directly address any calibration movies.

The java script error is due to missing images usually, if it messes up the ability to analyze the image and it gives the error on refreshes just do a bad focus. And like I said, clicking on no track before the next movie loads isn't a big deal, it'll still load propery after the page jump (at least...

Movie 7835572V1 Movie 348930V1 These just happens to be of the two that I wasn't sure of but marked anyway. I had really good ones but they are not being shown. Where are the other 60 I've marked...the good ones? They are calibration movies; known tracks in aerogel from other sources (not this proj...

There is nothing there..the surface is not disturbed if your slide the focus all the way to the bottom of the page to see the surface of the gel. The surface of the gel isn't at the bottom of the range, it's six bars from the top. If you think that then you need to take the training videos again. T...

I found three sub-surface anomolies in this movie. I flagged it for its unique appearance below the surface. The teardrop shape suggests an angular entry, but needs deeper focus/scrutiny. http://stardustathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/myevents_viewer.php?id=9590097V1 I disagree, they're surface features. Y...

How will this give a false result? The "No Track" is for the movie you are currently viewing. If the images aren't loaded before you click any kind of result, the images will load after. No problem.

Post a few examples of ones that you've seen; you can see the ones you've marked in your events ( http://stardustathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/myevents.php ). The reason I suggest you post a few you've found is the "ring" isn't on the surface of the gel, it's below it: http://stardustathome.ssl....

Re: % of movies clicked that are unlike the training

I'm at 95% (I'm a sucker for dots that come to a point that are clearly beneath the surface) Pretty much all the ones I've clicked are like that.. and really the "point" could be a track that is just small enough to look like a point (which is why I'm picking them to begin with). The othe...

Good question. I'm running at about 4%, though only 1% are ones that I would say are a track that look like the tests. The others are similar in that they are below the surface, but are small enough that they show as a dot rather than a circle; so either they're very small tracks or pre-existing fla...
