Re: Skill Score

Hi fjgiie

Yes, I've meant a correct click on a Power Movie.

Now your sentence makes more sense to me too :)
We don't want to right click anything as the Stardust computer can take care of this when updating the Skill Score after every clicked movie.

Re: "There's a problem with this focus movie"

Fred, it may be the 03:00 track-feature, same coord. but already out of focus at top bar.

Re: "There's a problem with this focus movie"

Thanks fjgiie & greuti - I think I see what you mean now. But that really would be a cheeky one, and I'd still like to know what that little out-rider parallel to my-so-called 'H-type' could be in both movies which you consider to be the entry region. Can Dan enlighten? John I'll ask! Though yo...

Re: "There's a problem with this focus movie"

8569028V1 That's impossible, isn't it. I guess this track looks mostly misplaced. Why do you say that? It seems to "jump" a little and come into focus only at the very end of the available focus bars, but we've seen those before. What I can't understand is why it's only worth 6 points, so...

8744030V1 has the same track and the same problem as Fred posted here (8203123V1)

Re: "There's a problem with this focus movie"

John, what you call "Heidelberg-type feature" is the entry hole/first part of this track - and Fred's dot the remaining particle at the end. It's a real track from the journey and (iirc) the middle part is also hardly visible in original size.

Re: "There's a problem with this focus movie"

3188785V1 (greuti's coord.) Looks like the track appears above the surface.

8569028V1 That's impossible, isn't it. I guess this track looks mostly misplaced.

Edited: The same track just perfectly placed (or is it the original?) 5687961V1

Re: "I think I've found a track, what do you think?"

Thanks Dan!

Yes, I've wondered about if this add on means something spezial (i.e. spezial set of movies).
So it's perfectly answered.

Re: Skill Score

Hi Fred, Guessing it could be done by starting (with the current figures) a second hidden Power Score and a second hidden Power Movie Viewed, with adding on a right clicked Power Movie to the two only when the calculation gives a higher average than your current one. Beside a Power Movie wrong click...

Re: Skill Score

Dear Dusters, Please note too that the the already suggested formula (No. of PMs Correct divided by No. of PMs Seen) is just like the old sensitivity And as you've here said before, it would those disadvantage which remain dusting. Then sooner or later and/or every once a while you will miss one of...

Re: "I think I've found a track, what do you think?"

1506030V1 looks like a real Midtnight track to me! Never saw a curved fiducial so far - plus the first and the last part (big remaining particle) doesn't look like fiducial-like. @Dan, can you say something about this new add-on (89_5A_UNB) in these particular image links, that I saw for the first ...

Re: Whine Time

Draw it mild, George! We know the current form would give a good picture of our ability to find real tracks..., though more or less, because of some Power Movie distinctive features... a good picture, if all would steady click on every Power Movie they get in a session. But how will you be sure they...

Re: NASA to announce important new discovery about Mars toda

http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/MRO/news/mro20110804.html Very interesting flows there! Only one thing doesn't suit (so far), CRISM does not see anything. That flows are much smaller than the CRISM pixel scale (18m) of about 5m, but some HiRISE pictures show much larger areas covered by this dark ...
