I've never had any problems with Firefox, but also noted that the new version (3) load the movies _much_ faster. :-)

I would say - in all friendliness: stop quibbling about CM:s and points, and concentrate on searching for stardust!

Screening strategy

In the thread "my Specificity and Sensitivity against the average values" the discussion has turned to the amount of work we have set before us. fjgiie wrote: "around 3 million movies over the whole collector times 400 views is a billion looks, give or take a few million." This b...

I continued dusting without especially addressing the Back Button Broblem, but nevertheless tried every now and then. The behavior of the button was now erratic: sometimes it gave a new movie, sometimes the old one, accompanied dutifully by the "unusual route" comment. I couldn't discern a...

Hi! I just viewed 34 movies, pressing the browser's (the VM doesn't have a Back-button, does it?) Back-button each time after the "verdict" regarding the movie I just viewed had come. Each and every time I was served another movie than the one I just had evaluated, without any claim regard...

Out of 220 CMs, my specificity is still 100%, but the sensitivity 82%. We can't complain: they warned us that the rates will go down! And I try to keep in mind, that I'm not looking for CM-points, but for possible tracks in the actual Stardust-movies. Spotting those tracks seem a lot tricker than we...

Why already assessed movies?

Why are we served movies already assessed by the Stardust team? I click on a suspect frame, go to "My Events", and find that it's already deemed "Not extraterrestial" or (if I'm lucky) "Possible interstellar dust particle". Waste of time and volounteer work? Also: would...
