Stay tuned

D'oh! I read your links and the links in the "In The News" discussion thread. Very informative. Thanks to: The Moon, Fjgiie and Nikita for your considerarion and graceful input. I stand corrected. I just feel (aside from misinformed- by the media) that too much attention to personal recog...

I Heard the news today..Oh boy..

The man on the news said that the Stardust Mission spacecraft captured "interstellar" particles in an "aerogel" medium aboard a probe designed to do just that. Those particles are currently being examined by NASA scientists to determine the nature of those particles, and probabl...

And now for something totally different.......

Some 10,000 movies ago, the predominant characteristic of "bad focus" movies was replete with overlapping fractures and wide variations in focus due to lateral deformation. The physical appearence of the aerogell suggests intense gravitational or even- inertia l forces at work. Is there a...

feedback

Hi Howie! 1. CM movies are getting smaller and changing what they look like? I've noticed a big change in the CMs with tracks. but the tracks got smaller not the movies! 2 CM movies without a track are getting trickier? And yes, the non-tracked CMs have become more cluttered and busy! 4. I was...

Too long for a reply

Rotareneg, Movie1: I think your right, about it being a tilted surface. Either way, it's no track. Movie2: I'm leaning towards a "fracture" or other surface anomally on this one. Movie3: Probably the best 3D focus/clarity I've seen yet :D Lotta junk further down. Again, no track. Thanks f...

I see too many problems here that look contrived, which is why I am strongly suggesting that there is more to this experiment than meets the eye. I think that WE are the subjects here, not the dust particles. mrnaz, I sent you a PM regarding the "ulterior motives discussion" in past discus...

Rock Bottom

As I scan, I've noticed some movies don't come into focus until the lowest possible focus. (I flag them "bad focus"). On the contrary, some movies are at "surface" focus at the very top of the focus scale. As I slide down the focus scale, the surface characteristics blurr out qu...

Re: Dusting is like Fishing!

 They call it fishing...not catching! It is the same thrill when you see the unmistakable trail of a track as when you get a bite on your fishing rod. Use care to not click too soon and miss the bite! How many "dusters" Are also fishermen? It takes patience for both! Happy Dusting.....

Thanks, fjgiie fjgiie, Please tell me you meant >100Mbps. I just checked my system, and 10 Mgps is, well kinda slow. You have a cable connection? :? I've ...
