What is this?

I've got a couple of these in My Events list. Movies that have been viewed 150 to 200 times and have <10 agreements. For example, here's one . At about 200 microns from the left and 90 microns from the top, there is something coming into focus that looks very much like a track. It's clearest at the ...

It will be interesting to see what happens. Decimal points showed up for me at the exact point when the value would have rounded up to 100%.

I predict your first value with decimal points will be exactly 99.50% in one of your ratings. Shortly thereafter, the other one will go to the same value.

Problem is resolving itself

Half way fixed. I just clicked on a "blank" calibration movie, and now I have 2 places after the decimal in my Specificity. Evidently, this occurred at the point where my score would have rounded to 100%. Calibration Movies Answered Correctly 393 Calibration Movies Answered Incorrectly 2 Y...

Sig figs in specificity and sensitivity percentages

I see others here talking about, and posting, their specificity and sensitivity percentages to two decimal places. My ratings are rounded to the nearest whole number. No decimal places. Why is that?

Re: strange...

Maybe I got the newest html code and you are still caching then old? Hmm... that's very possible. I'll turn off my computer tonight. I was dusting at work today (during breaks only, of course) 8) and I had no decimal places. I just booted up my computer at home, and still no decimal places. I'm mis...

Specificity: 100.00% Sensitivity: 99.64% 510/511 = 99.80%, not 99.64%. 99.64%=509 movies answered correctly, but I have 510 answered correctly. Now, I may be nitpicking, but incorrect is incorrect. I think that they calculate specificity based the number of times we say we've found a track in "...

On second viewing, I can now see the bits of schmutz on the surface that's causing the diffraction lower down. The lighting in my office must be better now, or something. Or maybe I'm more wide awake. The original question still stands. Do the "agree-ers" have to click on the same s...

How are agreements tallied?

Some movies have more than one artifact in them. You pick one, and click on it. In My Events, does the number of agreements include every click anywhere on the movie, or does it only include those who clicked on the same artifact? For example, in the following movie, http://stardustathome.ssl.berkel...

If the folks in charge are watching, movie 10951A shows the banding we're talking about. It sort of looks like 8 bit greyscale dithered to 6 bit.

And it doesn't seem to me like ALL calibration movies have it, just most.
You're right. I just clicked No Track on one with no banding, and my score increased.

I've noticed this banding when viewing on a CRT too. Doesn't seem to happen on an LCD.
You can't help but pay a little more attention when you know it's a calibration image, which is exactly the opposite of the way it should be.
Sort of defeats the purpose.
I hope the admins can sort this out.
