Re: "I think I've found a track, what do you think?"
In my last post, that should have been "excluding evident fiducials." (Was a long day...)

Re: "I think I've found a track, what do you think?"
As Phase V is winding down, I see many obvious tracks that have not yet received any staff commentary. To help ensure they do not get lost in transition, I offer the following tracks for followup (excluding evident fiduciaries): Movie 7785775V1, 2595670V1, 4189309V1, 4247813V1, 2449495V1, 2595670V1,...

Re: "I think I've found a track, what do you think?"
In support of the team's policy, I do not think fiducials are wasting dusters' time, for two reasons: First, it's possible that a movie containing a fiducial might also contain a genuine track, so we would not want to exclude movies with fiducials. Second, fiducials are also good training for us, to...

Re: "I think I've found a track, what do you think?"
Here are a few that I've found that might be worth a look: Movie 7741982V1 Movie 7069356V1 Movie 5081155V1 – straight-in (not high-angle) at coordinates (x=35, y=250). Movie 1467343V1 – fiducial? Movie 1557734V1 - small one at coordinates (x=400, y=375). If any of these have already been promoted to...

Re: Tracks and Movies
The frame http://stardustathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/powermissedviewer.php?movie_vm=5645273V1&theX=318&theY=251 shows what looks like two apparent tracks, which cannot be right. I've missed it twice now because the posted coordinates seem to fall squarely between the two (who knew?). I thought t...

Re: Am I still important?
I have been assuming that the team will eventually check out every movie flagged by a plausible number of dusters, including going back over the input from Phases I, II, and III. The core data are of sufficient importance that this is the only approach that would seem to make sense, even if it takes...
