Oh I see what's going on here... Just concentrate on the space dust and ignore the Martian endospores, Metroid Larva & the Andromeda Strains you may also find. Not at all! I'd say that the interesting "non-track" items are just as, with the possibility of being more, important d...

Not necessarily. Some minerals grow in straight lines, like asbestos.

Multiple objects coming into focus. 3 are distinct. several more seem to be round circles (3 in bottom left corner) getting sharper towards bottom of focus range.

I think Stardust@home made a mistake in the 'cheater' thing.

I'm not one of the people who had the accounts zero'd out, but I think the difference in the 'cheater' and regular user histograms can be explained by the large number of 'bad focus' movies recently. It takes hardly any time to realize that the focus of the bad focus movies is above the surface. I a...

Question about 'top 100' certificate'.

Do you get the cert if you hit the top 100 for just a day, or do you have to maintain top 100 to the end of the project?

Another suggestion: When releasing new movies, if the first 10 people confirm that a movie is 'bad focus', then the server should spare the next 90 people from having to look at a useless image.

Going through a series of 'bad focus' movies is frustrating.

Today, was going through movies, and going 'bad focus' 'bad focus' 'bad focus' 'bad focus' 'bad focus' and then losing concentration on following movies. I think that if a movie gets 9/10 'bad focus' reviews when viewed by the first 10 people, the software should quit serving that movie to the other...

I sit back at a distance and briefly skim.

I try not to burn myself out by thinking too hard.
Occasionally I'll check out a complicated pic, but make up my mind after about3 seconds.

Entering that data into google gives 34.2

Google : what is 1 divided by (1000 meters times 1000 meters times 1000 meters) times 1000 square centimeters times 6.5 months times 20 kilometers per second

Then again, the '1' is only one significant digit.
