Re: Movie 8153179V1: StarDust@Home - "in 1st review&

Since posting a message regarding Movie 8153179V1 within the Did anyone find a CLEAR track? thread, this movie seems to have come to the attention of the StarDust@Home team. It has now received an official "in 1st review" comment - the first that I have seen in my list of events. This is ...

Re: trust

I agree. These people are probably making many overhours at the moment and then somehting like this just slips through. Since all the data coming in from us is stored somewhere it will be easily rechecked and corrected when it is discovered that something is wrong. These are just technical details u...

Same here. I am guessing it is more then just a mix up of variables because after a no track movie my specificity went down from 99% to 98% (no extra digits) and only after a track movie it went to the 95.37% sensitivity value.

It's refractive index is close to that of air (i.e. n=1.05) which is to be expected since it is made up out of air fo...

I was using Firefox while having these problems ( who doesn't  ) but have now switched to explorer and this seems to work better. Perhaps the problem is in the fact that in firefox you don't get the "Do you want to report a track press OK" message.

I would like to report another issue that I (and others) encountered. It has already been mentioned in another post (Possible dust not registered after click) but it might be good to have it in this thread as well. When I try to register track it is not added to my events. The link to the specific m...

I had the same with 11123B and also got subtracted one point while it was not a calibration movie. My mistake though was not to click on the track itself but accidentally on a random position.
