Update on ISPE Publications and Moving Toward Phase VII

Can’t wait to see the Stardust Interstellar Preliminary Examination (ISPE) papers in print? Neither can we!  The latest news on our forthcoming publications is that all of the ISPE manuscripts submitted to the journal Meteoritics and Planetary Science (MaPS) have been accepted. At the same time, we are going through the peer review process at another major journal, waiting patiently for a decision on our top-level ISPE paper. Thus, our current plan is to hold off the MaPS publications until all the ISPE papers can be published together, with all the press and fanfare they deserve.

In other news, we have been considering some very important feedback we received from some of our current volunteer “dusters,” and as a result, we are looking to overhaul our homepage and launch a revamped, and hopefully more duster-friendly Phase VII to coincide with the publications and press mentioned above.  We will of course keep you posted.  Thanks for your patience, a virtue so often necessary in these realms!
