Correct and Incorrect Score adding at the same time

Post by motedai »

When I receive a positive for one of the calibration movies, the "negative" goes up by one as well. Anyone else have this problem? It is a little annoying as my positive score goes up, my negative does as well, which throws off my specificity and sensitivity stats.

Correct and Incorrect Score adding at the same time

Post by oreophile »

I have had the same double scoring for calibration movies 10514A and 10742B. It's on thing to disagree with the calibration answer, but clearly this is a bug in the scoring. Oreophile

New Bug??

Post by rockmanx7 »

I could not find this issue so here it is.

There has been several time when I either clicked on a track or click No Track that I have seen both the number of Calibration Movies Answered Correctly and the number Calibration Movies Answered Incorrectly both increment.
Is this a bug?
If so, how will this be corrected to reflect the correct numbers?

Thanks,

I've heard about clicking and neither of the numbers changing but not both incrementing up. Maybe they are related. I don't know the policy on correcting scores, but first the problem would have to be identified and resolved.
I would keep a record of the movie number each time this happens for now.

i don't want to start a new thread, so i will ask here.

yesterday i wasn't looking for tracks (yes, i know, it is close to crime;) )
and today i'm logging in, and i see that my sensitivity is at 96,2% and specifity too. since the day before yesterday i have not done any mistake (because i was not on line) but my percentages went down.

these are my stats

Calibration Movies Answered Correctly 509
Calibration Movies Answered Incorrectly 9
Your Overall Score: 500
Total Real Movies Viewed: 1271
Your Rank: 547 out of 9818
Specificity: 96.20%
Sensitivity: 96.20%

how could i have percentages on this level, despite i have only 9 mistakes of 518 movies?

See this thread. It appears that they're putting the sensitivity value in both locations. Since that value is lower than the specificity value for most people, it looks as if your score has gone down.
If you're going to be just like everyone else, what's the point in existing?

I've encountered this problem as well. Really quite odd.

Yes indeed - I saw this twice

Post by lookingglass »

Twice in one week I noticed that after clicking on what appeared to be an obvious track, both the "calibration movies answered correctly" and "calibration movies answered incorrectly" incremented by one.

While I'm not really too concerned about my specificity and sensitivity scores as they are high enough to make me happy that I doing OK ...

... I am curious about this event I have witnessed twice so far.
