How About the Real Dark Movies?

Post by Howie »

Hi All,

Yes, I have been away for awhile, due to my wife's health...so I am trying to catch up on things, so forgive me if I missed this somewhere already on posts? I have only been back for a few days and less time spent than phase 1

First, can someone explain the reason for the real dark movies? Is that the new lighting? They make it easier to spot tracks.

Second, by the way a couple of them I have in events are also 100% clicked from no more than 5-7 views over the past few days and must be real tracks.
Almost unmistakable.

I am posting a couple here, because, they may be on post ...
"I think I found a track"

5 of 5 views ... http://stardustathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/ ... d=225766V1 ...

3 of 4 at least 2 tracks 1 about 3/4 down focus upper left and 1 end of focus
lower right ... http://stardustathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/ ... =3924614V1 ...

4 of 4 ... http://stardustathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/ ... =3357618V1 ...

These are what I call dark movies...

Hi Howie!

Welcome back! I hope everyone's health is better now.
As you know how dark is too dark falls into the land of duster discrimination. These are all on the edge to me. There are things there, are the surfaces sloped? Inclusions? I think I would have to go through those up and down like a teacher would pace, holding a student's paper there wondering if there is substance in the essay.

For other dusters, if you really believe it is too dark, just click the bad focus button.

Good Luck!

Hi There,

Was not complaining, I like the darker ones. I was just wondering if that was new lighting they had talked about. To me, they are easier to view and easier to spot tracks?
Thanks,
Howie
