Hello, everyone. I think I would like to be the first to nominate myself for the worst and/or silliest stats in Phase 2. Would others care to join in so I don't feel quite so dumb?

Statistics from Phase One for elainekeefe

Calibration Movies Answered Incorrectly: 12
Overall Score: 20396
Total Movies Viewed: 76387
Your Rank: 92 out of 24628
Specificity: 99.97%
Sensitivity: 99.88%

Movies on My Events List: About 400
No. of "firsts": About 12

Phase Two

Calibration Movies Answered Incorrectly: 21
Overall Score: 1713
Total Movies viewed: 9688
Rank: 62
Specificity: 100%
Sensitivity: 97.66%

No. of Movies on my Events List: 243
No. of "firsts": 146
(Meaning, of course, first to tag a segment of a movie that was probably clicked on 300 times in Phase One.)

Hello Elaine and everyone else

I think you are doing just fine - my stats are about the same - in fact I'm just behind you.

Phase 1 Stats

Overall Score: 3296
Total Movies Viewed: 12496
Rank: 480 out of 24633
Specificity: 100.00%
Sensitivity: 99.26%

I didn't start until late on Phase 1.

Phase 2 Stats

Overall Score: 1700
Total Movies Viewed: 9252
Rank: 64 out of 24633
Specificity: 99.77%
Sensitivity: 97.66%

I'm also having a little more trouble with the CM's this time around.
Nothing worth mentioning in the first to click stakes - I reckoned they are all inclusions.

My Phase 1 Results:

Your Overall Score: 1743
Total Movies Viewed: 6217
Your Rank: 888 out of 24645

I just keep plodding along, limiting my dusting to 25 Real Movies at a time (otherwise, I get tired/sloppy and start to miss on the CMs....)

Phase 2 Results, to date

Your Overall Score: 520
Total Movies Viewed: 2853
Your Rank: 168 out of 24645
Specificity: 97.86%
Sensitivity: 97.01%

Phase 1 Final

Your Overall Score: 1592
Total Movies Viewed: 5548
Your Rank: 975 out of 24645
Specificity: 100.00%
Sensitivity: 99.63%

Nowhere near the leaders, never was and never will be, but that's just fine. I have no idea why my Spec/Sens seems high - I don't think I spend any more time than others scanning each VM (could be just dumb luck?). Like you, ergophobic, I use a "limit" for each session - after my Overall Score goes up by 5 I quit, which keeps me from getting too tired.

I am, however, deeply impressed by those in the scoring leadership that have such high Spec/Sens scores!! They're not just "firing away" but are just as concerted and careful in their scanning as anyone else - they're both fast and effective...Kudos!! :D (...if course, given with just the right touch of jealousy  )

Happy Dusting everyone!

My statistics

Post by jelfving » Wed Oct 03, 2007 7:01 am

I just finished a short "sitting", during which I studied 20 real movies, six CM's, and deemed 9 movies as Bad Focus.

After that my statistics are:

Calibration Movies Answered Correctly 371
Calibration Movies Answered Incorrectly 30
Your Overall Score: 341
Total Real Movies Viewed: 1640
Your Rank: 208 out of 24649
Specificity: 99.51%
Sensitivity: 85%

During Phase 2, I've clicked on 112 real movies, which is 6.8 % of the real movies I've deemed assessable. I guess I'm fairly "trigger-happy". :-)

Wow - I'm obviously a slow learner compared to some of you folks. Your stats are incredible. Way to set the standard for excellence! My stats are slowly and painfully improving. As of this morning:

Score - 7042
Rank - 19th

Specificity - 99.92
Sensitivity - 97.92

Not likely to get much better, but will keep trying.

I've clicked on 230 Real Movies, = 4.6 % of all evaluated RMs ("Bad Focuses" not counted).
Of these there is 50 % or better agreement among viewers in 34, = 14.8 %. In four cases I was the "First Clicker" :-).
But then, in no less than 81 of the 230 I remain the first and _only_ clicker :-( ! No great specificity there!
