Phase II

I'm sorry that I cannot adapt to what you call Phase II. The examples that I see in one movie have no meaning in the next movie. I click on an object and I am told that it is not an object. When I ignore the same object I told that I am still wrong. You have indeed found a way to find small "tr...

invisible

Hi Star Gezzer;
I agree. If it were not for the "paste in" square, not 1 in a thousand would find this thing. It is not the size but the lack of contrast. This may incourage some to spend more time but it might drive some away from the project.

Hi foxholes; I don't khow all of the ways that the system works, but this morning when I tried to log on, I also got an update warning from microsoft.(lack of capitallizition intentional). I was looking at my events at the time but was not able to log in. That is to say, the prompt said that I must ...

Estimate

Hi greuti; Of course I refer to the thousands of registered dusters. Aerogell is refered to as "frozen smoke". What we are searching for is a "frozen shock wave". Your desciption is pretty good to my mind, but there are many dusters who do not have such a clear picture. Even in t...

New CMs

Hi marcia; I wonder at the team's reasons for the proposed change in CMs. According to the original announcements, they had real interstellar tracks from the Muir station as well as the test tracks that were created in the lab. Now they say they will use "tracks" from the movies we are tes...

Satellite

Hi Titanium; One thing caught my eye in this thread. The "satellite" speck that is sometimes found with a CM, is an artifact of the CM. I worry that someone might overlook a real track which will not have such a companion. When I was starting, I spent a lot of time with the training images...

Error-error

I have seen so many reports of errors but I haven't had any that I couldn't account for until now. I don't bother to learn the expertise for recording movie numbers and such. At this point, there is no point in continuing. I don't know how this could happen and at this point I don't care. Groundling...

Pregnant?

jsmaje Personal affronts should always be not allowed in a friendly exchange such as this. If you think that " The team" is not helping you, you should look back a little bit. These people worked on this project before the spacecraft was launched in 1999. It is childish to chide these peop...

Hi DustSabre; I'm just hoping that this will inspire a mad dash for position, thus furthering the science People tend to overlook details when in a hurry. I worry that those who rush to increase the score may miss something. The inverse may also be true. Clicking on everything "below the surfac...

Re-image

Hi Bryan; I assume that the usual procedure for a "bad focus" would just be to do a hands-on look and then provide a new focus which would resolve the confusion.(?) What I wanted to ask was if the team looked at the result of a "limited surface" rescan, would the team take the op...

Re-image?

I have seen at least two track candidates that satisfy all of the needs except for depth below surface. There are many others that could be resolved by being re-imaged at a deeper focus. It would be great to see some of these candidates deeper in the jell. Are any of these included in the group ment...

Flame

Hi Ronald C. Spencer;
Well I guess that's about as close to a flame job as I have seen.
Most people are searching for information.
I can take a hint.
goodby.

Glitch

Hi Howie;
When I see a problem with access to a site I want to see if similar sites or pages have the same problem.
To focus on one situation alone does not help me see a solution.

OOps

Hi there;
I jumped in with the previous post without checking.
I also cannot access my events.
On the other hand, the other comments are true. I don't have a clue how they might relate. :oops:
