Twelve papers summarizing the results of the Stardust Interstellar Preliminary Examination (ISPE) have been submitted to Meteoritics and Planetary Science. They are now under peer review, and we expect to have the first referee reports soon. The ISPE is the latest in a series of NASA Preliminary Examinations that began with Apollo. In parallel, we are working on a paper to be submitted to a major journal reporting the discovery of interstellar dust candidates. The plan is to coordinate these publications.
We have other good news: we just received scan data from JSC from three new tiles. We will be putting them onto the VM shortly.
Thank you again for your participation in Stardust@home!
